Intestinal Parasite Treatment

Intestinal Parasites are everywhere in your pet’s environment. The most common are roundworms, hookworms and whipworms. All of the parasites listed are zoonotic, which means they can be transmitted to humans. Many of these parasites can be life threatening to your pet when they are left untreated. It is very important that your pet’s feces is tested at least once a year to make sure that they do not have parasites. There are some monthly heartworm preventions that can prevent parasites from becoming a problem for your pet.
