Marie Veterinary Technician

Marie has been part of the Countryside team since 2016. Marie attended the Academy of Environmental Science. She aspires to specialize in veterinary hospice care. She has a vast knowledge of veterinary medicine with excellent technical skills, she also is trained in the art of grooming dogs so they look and feel their best. Marie was born and raised in Citrus County. She currently lives with Gabby the Lab, Yoko the shorkie, Noodles the dachshund, Pepper the spaniel, Chester the large orange kitty, Stanley the Tabby, and Smokie and Miss B (both foster fails), the black kitties. Marie’s hobbies consist of napping, crafting, going to the beach for shark teeth and shelling. Marie strives in her free time to also create a more inviting and inclusive community. Her special interests in the clinic setting include dealing with feline patients, especially those with cattitudes and educating owners to the best of her ability on a multitude of different diseases. She has embraced Countryside’s Fear Free philosophy and makes sure each patient she encounters has a stress-free experience.
